The Last Lecture - A Lesson on Life

Carnegie Mellon University had a tradition of inviting professors to give their "last lecture." The concept was to imagine you only had one lecture to give before you died, what would you tell your students. Dr. Randy Pausch was a professor of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon. In September of 2006, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The doctors gave him 3 to 6 months to live. He gave his lecture at Carnegie Mellon University on "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams" and it has impacted many.

If a man who is 45 years old, married, with 3 children under 6 years of age, has only 6 months left to live and is going to tell us what is important in life, shouldn't we listen?

Take some time to listen to Randy's words. Write down anything that has moved you or made you think or impacted you. It might make a difference in your life. It did to millions of others. Mine too.
